Kolkata Centre for Creativity presents SAMAGAM, a Hindustani classical trio featuring Pandit Partha Bose on sitar, Pandit Lokesh Anand on shehnai and Pandit Anindo Chatterjee on tabla, as part of AMI Arts Festival 2026.
The performance brings together three instruments with distinct musical traditions. The melodic character of the sitar and shehnai meets the rhythmic possibilities of the tabla, creating a shared space for musical exchange.
Each maestro brings decades of experience to this rare combination. Through their interplay, SAMAGAM offers audiences an opportunity to hear these instruments together in a Hindustani classical recital.
Pandit Partha Bose is a sitar player of the Maihar gharana with a performance career spanning over four decades. He has presented Hindustani classical music across five continents, carrying forward the traditions of his gharana through concerts in India and internationally.

Pandit Lokesh Anand is a shehnai artist and a top-grade musician of All India Radio and Doordarshan. Known for his command over the instrument and expressive melodic style, he has performed widely on the Indian classical music stage.
Pandit Anindo Chatterjee (Tabla)
