Theatre: An Inspiring Journey

Introducing a 6-month-long series of theatre classes for children at KCC where the participants will be provided with a space to explore the diversity of theatre and the ways it intersects with our community and culture. Register now to build an intellectual and aesthetic understanding of the craft and techniques of theatre arts in your child!

A few classes will be taken by experts in various fields of theatre and culture for grooming.
Trainer profile
Atindra Daniary is a journalist and scriptwriter, who has written poetry, short stories, features, and letters in reputed newspapers such as Ananda Bazar Patrika, Tathyakendra, Khoborer Kagoj, Nandonik, Abhas, Sangbikshan, Manument, SamayEkhan, Ujan, Charjya Udyog, and Ei Samay. He has authored a poetry book named “Toke To Jete e Hobe” published by Deys Publishing. He is the former creative writer at Ei Samay covering cultural news, special features, interviews, Annyo Samay, the editorial page and Robibaroyari, the Sunday supplement.
Daniary has written scripts for several documentary films including BIDHAN NAGAR directed by Raja Sen, GANGA BANCHAO produced by NGRBA,Delhi and directed by Raja Sena, RABIBASOR produced by Rabibasor Adhibason and directed by Raja Sen; as well as for a number of mega serials such as Sukh directed by Anindya Sarkar for Zee T.V Bangla with Subrata Chowdhury, Lukochuri directed by Babu Bonik for E.T.V Bangla, Ta Bole Ki Prem Debo Na directed by Manish Ghosh for Sananda Bangla, Swapnoneer directed by Bijoy Jana for Rupashi Bangla, Chhoy Maser Mega for Akash Aath, among others.
He has worked on several productions by theatre groups such as Blue Sky, Anyo Chinta, Udvas, Aneek, Manchojoddha, and Prayas Oikantik, for the past fifteen years, and has written and directed plays for many famous theatre groups. At present, Daniary is working as a journalist and creative writer at Anandabazar Online, and a creative writer at Ei Samay Gold.
