KCC Conservation Lab has been established as a not-for-profit facility at the Kolkata Centre for Creativity in 2018 to provide services of conservation and restoration of historic and artistic works, we offer consultancy in collection care, preventive conservation, storage, mounting, framing, display, packing and transport of artworks. We constantly work on building capacity in heritage conservation primarily in the eastern region of India through workshops and training programs.

The facility addresses conservation needs of oil paintings, acrylics, mixed media, manuscripts, illustrated miniature paintings', paintings on cloth, wood and metal sculptures. Over the next two years' additional facilities for conservation of textiles & carpets, stone and photographs will be added.
