Kolkata Centre for Creativity, in collaboration with Angashuddhi, presents Srishti, the culminating presentation of the Summer Intense Odissi Workshop. This informal presentation offers a glimpse into the creative and technical processes explored during the workshop. 

Odissi, one of India’s oldest classical dance forms, is characterised by its fluidity, sculptural vocabulary, and nuanced abhinaya, rooted in the temple traditions of Odisha. The form brings together technical precision with a deeply expressive narrative quality. 

Srishti reflects the participants’ intensive training in movement, rhythm, and expression under the mentorship of distinguished Odissi practitioners Shashwati Garai Ghosh and Sharmila Biswas, each known for a rigorous approach to pedagogy and performance.
