Songs of Migration (Music of Many Homes) is a heartfelt exploration of the human experience of migration. Led by music director and composer Debojyoti Mishra fuses folk, classical, and contemporary melodies to reminisce the heartrending journey of leaving home, the ache of loss, and the hope of new beginnings.
A quartet of musicians and a chamber choir will breathe life into these stories, where music becomes a bridge between the past, present, and future, carrying memories, emotions, and the enduring human desire for belonging.
As part of the AMI Arts Festival 2025, the performance is a tribute to the resilience, and shared humanity of migration mingled with the pain of lost homes.
