ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Hailed as “The Man with the Singing Sitar,” Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan is a 7th-generation torchbearer of the Etawah Gharana. A Padma Shri awardee, his music seamlessly bridges centuries-old tradition with contemporary innovation, captivating audiences worldwide with his lyrical Gayaki Ang and emotional depth.
One of India’s most revered tabla players, Pandit Anindo Chatterjee is celebrated for his impeccable technique, tonal clarity, and improvisational brilliance. A senior disciple of Pandit Jnan Prakash Ghosh, he has performed with legendary maestros across the globe and is regarded as one of the greatest tabla exponents of our time.
