KCC in collaboration with Angashuddhi is set to host the Summer Intense Odissi Workshop – the annual programme of Angashuddhi. This immersive training programme will offer a rare opportunity to engage deeply with the technique, philosophy, and expressive depth of Odissi. It will foster rigorous training and artistic refinement under the guidance of distinguished mentors and acclaimed Odissi exponents, namely Shashwati Garai Ghosh and Sharmila Biswas, each bringing their distinctive approach to movement, rhythm, and storytelling. The workshop will culminate in a technical rehearsal, preparing participants for an informal presentation, Srishti, on the final day, offering a glimpse into the creative and technical processes explored during the intensive.
JUNIOR GROUP: 10 years of age and above | for beginners and intermediate level with at least 1 year of experience
SENIOR GROUP: above 18 years of age | for trainees and advance level with at least 5 years of experience

19 – 22 May 2025: Workshop with Sharmila Biswas | KCC Studio Room | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Seniors), 3:00 – 6:30 PM (Juniors)
23 May 2025: Technical Rehearsal | KCC Amphitheatre | 2:00 – 7:00 PM
24 May 2025: Final Presentation | KCC Amphitheatre | 6:00 PM onwards
