Kolkata Centre for Creativity presents Nayab Live, an evening of spoken word and music led by poet and performer Nayab Midha.
The performance brings together poetry and live music, where spoken word moves beyond the page and is shaped through rhythm, voice, and sound. Through a sequence of poems and narratives, the session explores themes of love, longing, resilience, and everyday experience.
Nayab Midha’s work draws from personal and shared realities, engaging audiences through direct and conversational storytelling. Her performances focus on creating a space where poetry becomes accessible and emotionally resonant across diverse audiences.
Accompanying her is Arjan Singh, whose live music complements the spoken word, adding texture and pace to each piece. Together, they create a performance that invites listeners to engage with poetry as both sound and experience.
