As part of AMI ARTS FESTIVAL 2025, Kolkata Centre for Creativity presents Natya Sangam, a unique solo recital by internationally acclaimed dancer Malabika Sen. This performance is a celebration of two great traditions of Indian classical dance — Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi — woven together seamlessly into a powerful and graceful evening of rhythm and expression.
“Natya Sangam” is not merely a juxtaposition of two forms but a dialogue between them — exploring Bharatanatyam’s geometry and strength alongside Kuchipudi’s fluidity and lyrical grace. Through emotive abhinaya, refined technique, and devotion, Malabika Sen brings to life timeless stories that honour tradition while creating a space for artistic reflection.
