Matripaksha (Invisible Chord) is the debut feature film by filmmaker Rajesh Roy that traces the delicate intersections of faith, memory, and human emotion, the forces that continue to shape our lives even in an age of science and progress. The film is rooted in cultural metaphor and unfolds through a lucid yet layered narrative that gently dissolves the boundaries between the rational and the mystical.

A Shyam Benegal Restrospective Collateral, the screening will be followed by an engaging conversation between Swastika Mukherjee and Sanjoy Mukhopadhyay. Together, they will unpack the film’s symbolic dimensions and contemplate on its contemporary resonance.

Matripaksha invites viewers to pause, question, and reconnect with the invisible chords that tie the personal to the collective.
