Kolkata Centre for Creativity presents Marudhara Sang Ramjhol, an immersive Rajasthani folk singing workshop as part of KCC Ramjhol 4.0, led by Shri Jitendra Rana and accompanied on tabla by Kartik Mukherjee.
Presented in collaboration with Marudhara, an initiative dedicated to preserving and promoting Rajasthan’s rich folk traditions, the workshop offers audiences an opportunity to engage with the region’s vibrant oral musical heritage. Through interactive learning and performance, the session explores the melodic richness, storytelling traditions, and expressive depth that define Rajasthani folk music.
Rooted in the Guru–Shishya Parampara, the session creates a space for learning, cultural exchange, and deeper engagement with musical traditions that continue to thrive through memory and performance.
