Kolkata Centre for Creativity presents LAYAKARI, an immersive rhythm and tabla workshop led by internationally acclaimed tabla maestro Tanmoy Bose. Rooted in Indian classical percussion while engaging with global rhythm traditions, the workshop invites participants into an interactive journey through sound, listening, movement, and creative expression.

Designed for beginners, intermediate learners, musicians, dancers, educators, and curious participants across age groups, LAYAKARI approaches rhythm as something deeply connected to everyday life – present in breath, speech, movement, and human connection. Through practical learning, ensemble exercises, improvisation, and listening sessions, participants will explore rhythm not only as a musical form but also as a way of developing focus, creativity, collaboration, and awareness.

The workshop concludes with A final sharing and performance on 27 June 2026 at the KCC amphitheatre.
