About Timir Biswas
Timir Biswas is an Indian playback singer known for his work in the Bengali, Hindi, and Southern film industries. He is also the lead singer of the Bengali Folk-Rock band Fakira. Due to his unique voice quality, Timir was noticed by music directors early in his career. Jeet Ganguly once remarked in an interview that "Timir is the Bryan Adams of Bengal."
Timir gained prominence with songs like "Onnyo Kothao Chol" from the film 033, with music by Chandrabindoo, and "Dui Prithibi" from the film Dui Prithibi, with music by Jeet Ganguly. He has also worked with music directors like Indradeep Dasgupta and Joy Sarkar. Recently, he made his Bollywood debut in the film Khajoor Pe Atke, directed by Harsh Chhaya.
