About the Bands:  
Fakira has been the flagbearer of lost and ancient folk culture, literature, and songs of Bengal. Due their cultural uniqueness and relevance they have achieved significant success in the promotion and creation of awareness thus giving a new life to this long-lost art form. They have regularly collaborated and actively engaged with the well-known experts of this genre of music, namely, Kanaidas Baul, Laxmandas Baul, Radheshyamdas Baul, Arman Fakir with the aim of learning and experiencing their philosophy. They’ve then tried to preserve the essence of this ancient musical art-form by recreating the same using a combination of traditional and modern instruments to maintain its authenticity yet make it more appealable to the masses.  

Indian Ocean is a pioneering Indian folk fusion band that has been making waves in the music industry for over three decades. Known for their unique blend of Indian traditional music with rock, jazz, and other genres, they have created a unique voice. Since their formation in 1990, the band has been at the forefront of the Indian music scene, constantly pushing boundaries and breaking new ground. Their discography is impressive, with several critically acclaimed albums that have cemented their place in Indian music history. Some of their most popular albums include "Kandisa," "Jhini," and "Desert Rain".
