Kolkata Centre for Creativity presents the second edition of the History Appreciation Course. The programme is open to all learners. It welcomes lifelong enthusiasts as well as those who once felt the subject was not for them. No prior background is required, only curiosity and a willingness to explore.
The course traces key moments from the onset of the French Revolution to the end of the Second World War. Through storytelling, discussion, and reflection, it examines important themes in European history. Instead of focusing on memorising dates, participants are encouraged to think, question, and connect with the ideas and events that shaped nations, societies, and everyday lives.
The sessions are led by two city renowned educators known for their clarity, passion and engaging approach. Each class invites open conversation and careful thought.
A stimulating experience for students, working professionals, curious minds, and anyone who wishes to rediscover history not as a subject of the past, but as a lens to understand the present.
