As part of AMI Arts Festival 2025, Kolkata Centre for Creativity presents Golpo Shuni Chol: Tales of Friendship, a four-day immersive workshop celebrating storytelling as a tool for connection, imagination, and creativity.
Hosted in collaboration with Kelaza and Hamari Muskan, this programme is designed especially for children from underserved communities. Facilitated at South Kolkata Hamari Muskan, the programme integrates Dance Movement Therapy, Mask Making, and Music through the lens of storytelling and nurtures well-being, creativity, and friendships in multi-sensory ways while highlighting art’s role as a medium of empowerment.
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Founded in 2015 by Dr. Arna Seal as an extension of Aroho Academy, Kelaza anchors its practice in storytelling as a medium for creativity, literacy, and community. Over eight years, Kelaza has run storytelling programmes like Goppo Shuni and Open Sesame while curating workshops, podcasts, and audio stories that nurture mindfulness, reading habits, and cultural imagination. This collaboration with Hamari Muskan and KCC extends Kelaza’s mission to empower underserved children through stories. <span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"> </span>
