KCC, in collaboration with Bichitra Pathshala, presents Framing Thoughts at AMI Arts Festival 2024 – an exploration of how framing shapes narratives and brings concepts to life. This workshop dives into how frames, from comic panels and photographic focus to cinema’s sequencing of shots, create moments that engage and transform imagination into visuals.
This session explores the origins and evolution of framing in storytelling across different media. Participants will learn to frame a story, understand space and time within frames, and apply concepts like composition and color. An interactive exercise will allow them to connect frames to create stories, followed by a Q&A for deeper insights.
