KCC’s History Appreciation Course is a warm invitation to anyone who has loved history, been curious about it, or perhaps longed to study it but never had the chance — whether due to fear, discouragement, or the myth that history leads nowhere professionally. Led by two of the city’s most passionate educators, this course will open a space to reimagine the past through engaging sessions on the Indus Valley Civilization, Ashoka, temple architecture, Akbar, agrarian histories, the Swadeshi movement, and Gandhi. Rooted in storytelling, curiosity, and critical reflection, the course will encourage participants to follow their own fascinations and questions, culminating in a final day of shared presentations.
