As part of AMI Arts Festival 2025, Kolkata Centre for Creativity is honoured to host an extraordinary lecture by Shri Gopalkrishna Gandhi, “Creative? Really? A Reflection on the Delusions of Authorship.”
This unique evening of reflection will offer a rare blend of literary insight and public wisdom. Drawing on his deep knowledge of history, literature, and public life, Shri Gandhi will explore the ways in which words, ideas, and authorship are shaped by memory, influence, and collective thought.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Gopalkrishna Gandhi is a distinguished diplomat, administrator, and writer. He has served as India’s High Commissioner to South Africa and Sri Lanka, Secretary to the President of India, and Governor of West Bengal. The grandson of Mahatma Gandhi and C. Rajagopalachari, he is the author of several works of history, biography, and translation.
