Kolkata Centre for Creativity, in collaboration with the British Deputy High Commission Kolkata, Indo-British Scholars’ Association (IBSA), and Kolkata Society for Cultural Heritage (KSCH), presents Contours of Climate Action: Our Planet, Our Lens, a photography exhibition marking World Environment Day 2026.

Centered around the theme Climate Action, the exhibition brings together powerful visual narratives exploring Nature & Biodiversity, Habitat, Clean Energy, and Pollution. Featuring works by finalists and selected participants from the photography competition, the exhibition highlights diverse perspectives on environmental challenges and possibilities for change.

A special showcase by acclaimed wildlife photographer Dhritiman Mukherjee presents compelling images of nature and habitat, while conservationist Ashwika Kapur contributes a dedicated section focused on environmental stewardship and conservation. The exhibition also includes an installation by Kolkata Society for Cultural Heritage, reflecting on the relationship between communities, nature, and sustainable futures.

The inauguration will be attended by Dr. Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner to East & Northeast India; Richa Agarwal, Chairperson, Kolkata Centre for Creativity and CEO, Emami Art; Subrata Paul, Former President, IBSA; and jury members Dhritiman Mukherjee, Ashwika Kapur, and Haimanti Poddar.

Through photography, conservation stories, and public engagement, the exhibition invites audiences to reflect on the urgent realities of climate change and the collective responsibility of protecting our planet.
