CERTIFICATE COURSE ON MUSEUM STUDIES – BATCH VI
KCC in collaboration with the Centre for Studies in Museology, University of Jammu is set to initiate the 6th batch of KCC’s annual Online Certificate Course on Museum Studies.
This 3-month online course is an intensive, immersive, hands-on programme that will provide participants – both freshers and in-service professionals – with the knowledge and professional skillset required to run future museums, cultural centres, and archives. Museology and archaeology experts and academics will guide the participants to explore the key theoretical frameworks of museology and focus on the practical aspects by equipping and enabling them with the practical knowledge, information, and critical tools required for successfully documenting cultural objects, putting up exhibitions, conserving cultural properties, and manage museums.
Course duration: 9 March 2025 – 31 May 2025
Frequency of classes: Saturdays and Sundays (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM IST)
Date of exam: 7 June 2025
Mode: Online (Zoom)
Eligibility: A bachelor's degree in any discipline
Fee: INR 5000 (for Indian citizens), INR 10000 (for non-Indian citizens)
