Beyond the Lens | लेंस के पार

Date: 27 July – 1 August 2026
Venue: KCC, 4th Floor

As part of Ramjhol 4.0 – Desert Meets Delta, Kolkata Centre for Creativity presents Beyond the Lens | लेंस के पार, an exhibition by Mala Mukerjee that explores the visual and cultural dialogue between Rajasthan and Kolkata.

Through a compelling collection of paintings, the exhibition captures the distinctive landscapes, architecture, people, and everyday moments of these two culturally rich regions. Drawing inspiration from Rajasthan's vibrant heritage and Kolkata's enduring artistic spirit, the works reveal shared narratives of memory, identity, and belonging.

Conceived as a journey across landscapes and lived experiences, Beyond the Lens invites viewers to look beyond geography and discover the connections that bind diverse cultures. Celebrating colour, tradition, and artistic expression, the exhibition embodies the spirit of Desert Meets Delta, where stories travel across regions and find new meanings through art.
