Barish Mein Bheegte Zajbaat

Kolkata Centre for Creativity presents बारिश में भीगते ज़ज्बात (Barish Mein Bheegte Zajbaat), a Hindi Adda evening of poetry and music shaped by love, longing, hope and memory.

Manisha Tibrewal’s poetry and Atif Ali Khan’s music come together in a simple, personal and unhurried format where spoken word and melody take turns and occasionally meet. The focus stays on the text, the voice, and the mood in the room.

At KCC Café, the setting keeps things close and informal. It feels less like a staged performance and more like listening in on something personal – stories, fragments, and songs that many will recognise in their own way.

Barish Mein Bheegte Zajbaat is not built on spectacle. It’s a quiet, steady evening that stays with you for its honesty rather than its scale – just as the adda we all love!
