About the Artist
Armaan Khan is a young Hindustani classical vocalist of the renowned Rampur-Sahaswan Gharana. The son and foremost disciple of the late Padma Bhushan Ustad Rashid Khan, he began his musical training at an early age, inheriting a rich tradition of khayal gayaki known for its clarity, expansive raga development, and intricate taans.
Despite his young age, Armaan has performed at prestigious music festivals and concert venues across India and internationally, earning recognition for his maturity, musicianship, and command over classical repertoire. Recipient of several honours including the Dover Lane Music Festival Award, Lokmat Sur Jyotsna Award, and Sri Shanmukha Sangeetha Shiromani Award, he represents a new generation of musicians committed to carrying India's classical traditions into the future.
