Kolkata Centre for Creativity presents a 10-day Performance Poetry Workshop, আবৃত্তি: অন্তরে বাহিরে with acclaimed artist Smt. Bratati Bandopadhyay. Across weekends in April and May, participants will explore the nuances of Bangla recitation, including voice modulation, tone, rhythm, and emotional expression.
With hundreds of performances behind her, Smt. Bratati Bandopadhyay combines technical finesse with emotional depth. Known for her lasting stage presence, television appearances, and digital media performances, her teaching draws from a wide artistic practice encompassing oration, theatre, and media.
The workshop offers a lively mix of training sessions, exercises, and mentoring, culminating in a final showcase on 8 May 2026, where participants bring their voices to the stage.
