KCC presents a special exhibition celebrating the life and works of Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay, one of Bengal’s most revered literary voices and the author of Aam Aantir Bhnepu, Chander Pahaar and Aranyak.
This event has been exclusively curated by his grandson Trinankur Banerjee, bringing together rare archival photographs, original manuscripts, handwritten letters, early editions, and treasured family heirlooms offering an intimate glimpse into the writer’s life, creative process, and enduring humanism.
Rooted in the landscapes of rural Bengal yet universal in its emotional depth, Bibhutibhushan’s writing continues to resonate across generations. His work reflects a profound sensitivity to nature, memory, displacement, and the quiet dignity of everyday lives.
The exhibition invites you to wander through the worlds he created – worlds where forests breathe, childhood unfolds with lyrical tenderness, and ordinary people carry extraordinary truths.
