Kolkata Centre for Creativity presents আবৃত্তির আঙিনা — a three-day intensive Bangla elocution workshop designed to hone your voice, rhythm, and expressive craft. Whether you’re a beginner or an aspiring performer, this immersive workshop invites you into the poetic and evocative universe of spoken Bangla.
Led by popular television anchor, performer, and digital creator Piyali Pathak, the workshop will combine technical training with emotive articulation. From vocal warm-ups to interpretive reading and critique-based sessions, participants will receive expert guidance on the nuances of voice, tone, and expression in Bangla recitation
Known for her anchoring on Ruposhi Bangla and Akash 8, Piyali’s artistic practice spans oration, theatre, and media and makes her uniquely equipped to mentor participants in both classic and contemporary performance styles.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Piyali Pathak is a versatile elocutionist with over 15 years of experience in the performing arts. She began her journey at the age of three and has since earned national recognition and international exposure. Trained in the Guru Parampara tradition, she blends recitation, theatre, and dance seamlessly into her performances.
A familiar voice on Radio Mirchi and All India Radio, and a TV host on Akash Aath and Ruposhi Bangla, Piyali is known for her expressive storytelling and commanding stage presence. She has performed alongside celebrated artistes such as Anup Jalota, Haimanti Shukla, Pt. Debashish Bhattacherjee, and Pt. Tanmoy Bose.
An engineer by qualification, she is now passionately devoted to promoting Bengali language, literature, and culture across India.
