Kolkata Premiere of ‘Breath’
Date: 5th February 2024
Time: 6:30pm to 7.30pm
Venue: KCC Amphitheatre
Mysticism of the breath is an ancient, and appropriately timeless, tool of healing and spiritual realization. Cultivating and living in a refined breath opens an acute embodied awareness. This awareness is a gateway to emotional and spiritual liberation.
Come witness Bharatanatyam dancers Sayani Chakraborty and Deepali Salil embody this emotional and spiritual liberation with their work titled ‘Breath’. Originally a part of their larger project, a dance film titled Looking Within Looking Around, Breath is now re-envisioned for the stage with a live orchestra while incorporating various new dimensions of breath.
Presented by Kolkata Centre for Creativity in collaboration with Sparsh Studio, Infosys, and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, this promises to be a transformative celebration of art, dance, and self-discovery.
