On the 3rd day of KCC Ramjhol 2.0, a festival at KCC celebrating Rajasthani culture, get ready for a performance of Rajasthani folk, Sufi, and contemporary music presented by singer-songwriter Rahgir.
Rahgir, who is known for his lyrical depth, with songs that are highly relatable to people, will include ‘Mere Gaon Aaoge’ ‘Kanya Manya Kure,’ ‘Maharaj Ji,’ and a few of his album songs, which showcase his unique blend of traditional and modern musical influences.
About the Artiste:
Rahgir was born on 18th May 1993 in Sikar, Rajasthan, India. He is a singer, songwriter, and author and is known for his songs and albums like "Aadmi chutiya hai", "Mere Gaon Aaoge", "Kya Jaipur Kya Dilli", "Kachha Ghada", and "Aakhir teeli". He is also known for Rajasthani folk music and his takes on “Kanya Manya Kurr”, “Gorband” and a lot of other folk songs are widely loved. He has also written two books titled “Kaisa Kutta Hai" and “Aahil”. He has been performing all around the country for the past 5 years and some noteworthy platforms are Jashn E Rekhta, Sahitya Aaj Tak Festival, Lallantop Adda, Anjas Festival and numerous colleges and cafes.
