Artist bio:
"Sourami Mukherjee, a senior disciple of Smt. Sujatha Ramalingam, is a dedicated young Bharatanatyam soloist from Howrah. An M.Sc in Chemistry, she has also completed Post Graduation in Bharatanatyam from Tamil University. She has also learned kathak. She has performed at various national and international dance festivals. She attended various workshops conducted by eminent artists. She has conducted a few dance workshops. Sourami has a keen interest in composing and choreographing new items. She is a part of a renowned theater group named 'SAMUHO '."
Kathakali Jana is administrative and events head at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy. Besides her day job, she also works as a freelance feature writer and dance reviewer for several print and online publications.
