After the resounding success of Adab Se Abad Tak - the inaugural Urdu course presented by Kolkata Centre for Creativity, we are delving deeper into the Khoobsoorti (beauty) of the language. The intermediate course will focus light on the life and works of four eminent poets. Zahid Hussain, a seasoned thespian, voice artist, and one of the pioneering Dastangos from Kolkata will take you through unknown avenues of the language.
Classes will be held at Kolkata Centre for Creativity, every Wednesday from 3rd July to 21st August, 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
As the previous time, we will celebrate Urdu as not just a language, but as an art form through this course. From the melodious verses of ghazals to the profound depth of nazms, participants will explore the nuances and beauty of Urdu literature.
Course Fee for first 15 Participants: 3,200 INR
Regular Fees: 3,600 INR

Meet Zahid Hossain, a seasoned thespian, voice artist, and one of the pioneering Dastangos from Kolkata. With a rich background in theatre and extensive experience in conducting workshops, Zahid brings passion and expertise to the realm of Urdu language. His diverse portfolio includes screen and stage productions, alongside regular engagements in theatre workshops across the country. Zahid also specializes in pronunciation workshops in English, Hindi, and Urdu, and actively contributes to various theatre groups in Kolkata.
